Vintage Hand-Knotted Wool Rug

Woven in Zanjan, this vintage hand-knotted wool rug brings together Red, navy blue and blue in a geometric medallion design. Its hand-drawn details and natural tonal variation give it the distinct character of a one-of-a-kind piece. It is an especially collectible example.

Measuring 8' 4" x 5' 0" (253 x 152 cm), this rug has a low wool pile with the softened surface and character expected of a piece of its age. Its proportions work naturally in a living room, bedroom or study.

Hand-knotted using traditional techniques. Professionally restored and triple deep washed by hand while preserving its original character.
