With a balanced hand-drawn composition, this vintage Hamadan rug features floral medallions with the irregularity and individuality expected from a hand-knotted village piece. The palette is led by rust red, with ivory and navy blue providing the principal contrast.

Measuring 8' 9" x 2' 6", its long, narrow proportions are well suited to a hallway, entry passage, kitchen corridor, or another narrow space. Its low pile preserves the definition and tactile character of the design.
