Semi-Antique Rare Fine Collectible Malayer Nahavand Wool Rug, Blue & Red, 5x98' 6" x 5' 4" (258 x 163 cm)
One-of-a-kind - Tribal - HandmadeAuthentic Semi-Antique Rare Fine Collectible Malayer Nahavand Village Geometric Hand-Knotted Wool Rug
This semi-antique, rare, fine, collectible hand-knotted wool area rug in blue and red is crafted from 100% handspun wool on a cotton foundation, created using traditional Malayer Nahavand village knotting techniques passed down through generations. Each knot is tied individually by hand with precise, fine detail, resulting in a dense, heavy, durable textile with depth, texture, and long-lasting structural integrity.
The wool was organically dyed using traditional natural dyeing methods, allowing the colors to age naturally and develop rich tonal variation over time. Subtle variations and irregularities are inherent to the handmade process and confirm the rug's authentic vintage character. Each piece is one of a kind and cannot be reproduced.
Every rug has been professionally triple deep-washed and meticulously restored by hand, ensuring it is clean, structurally sound, and ready for use while preserving its natural beauty and authenticity.
