Vintage Zanjan Stepped-Medallion Hand-Knotted Wool Runner

A richly coloured Zanjan runner centred by a bold, dark navy stepped medallion against a layered red and rust-red field. Angular tribal forms, small hooked motifs and scattered rosettes travel along the field, creating a lively composition with the pleasing irregularity of village weaving. Deep brown and navy borders enclose the design, while restrained ivory, olive and golden accents bring definition to its saturated palette. With a soft wool pile and versatile ten-foot length, it brings warmth and depth to a hallway, entryway or long passage.

Hand-knotted using traditional techniques.
