Vintage Zanjan Seven-Medallion Hand-Knotted Wool Runner

A striking Zanjan runner built around a vertical chain of seven dark, serrated geometric medallions, each detailed with nested diamond forms. The medallions stand prominently against a variegated red field, while camel-brown side borders carry small stylized flowers and branching botanical motifs in orange, pink, blue and ivory. Narrow dark guard borders give the composition definition and emphasize its strong linear rhythm. Its soft wool pile and balanced proportions make this one-of-a-kind runner especially appealing for a hallway, entryway or transitional space.

Hand-knotted using traditional techniques.
