Fine Vintage Gharajeh Heriz Seven-Medallion Hand-Knotted Wool Runner

A finely drawn Gharajeh–Heriz runner with seven alternating octagonal and stepped-cross medallions arranged along a deep red field. Ivory outlines sharpen the medallions against the densely worked ground, where compact angular leaves, hooked devices and small village motifs create exceptional visual texture. A narrow camel-toned inner border separates the field from a dark brown and navy main border filled with highly detailed geometric forms. Its precise weaving, low-soft wool pile and disciplined medallion sequence give this vintage runner a particularly refined presence.

Hand-knotted using traditional techniques.
