Vintage Rust Fine Medallion Hand-Knotted Area Rug

6' 7" x 3' 7" (201 x 108 cm)

Vintage Zanjan Rust Fine Medallion Area Rug

A nuanced example of regional rug making, this vintage Zanjan rug is organized around fine medallion, retaining the subtle irregularities that distinguish a genuinely hand-knotted piece. Its dominant colour is rust, supported chiefly by navy blue and beige.

Measuring 6' 7" x 3' 7", its balanced format works naturally in a living room, bedroom, study, foyer, or another intimate interior. The low-soft pile allows the drawing to remain clear while preserving the texture of the wool.

Hand-knotted using traditional techniques.

Professionally restored and triple deep washed by hand while preserving the rug's original character.
