Woven in Hamadan, this antique rug brings together red with a closely worked traditional design. Its hand-drawn details and naturally softened colours give it the individual character of a rug woven by hand.

Measuring 4' 0" x 1' 8" (123 x 51 cm), Its small proportions work naturally in an entry, bedroom, study, or layered with a larger rug. The low, worn wool pile gives it a softly timeworn surface, with visible age-related wear that is part of its character.

Hand-knotted using traditional techniques.

Professionally restored and triple deep washed by hand while preserving the rug's original character.
