Vintage Heriz Gharajeh Geometric Medallion Hand-Knotted Wool Runner

A one-of-a-kind vintage Heriz Gharajeh runner with a rich red field arranged around a striking vertical progression of angular village medallions. Large cruciform and hexagonal forms alternate in deep navy-black, ivory, camel brown and muted olive, creating a bold architectural rhythm along the rug’s length. Small geometric devices and stylised botanical elements fill the spaces between, while layered red, dark brown and ivory borders give the composition a strong, finely structured frame.

Hand-knotted using traditional techniques.

Professionally restored and triple deep washed, preserving its soft wool pile.
