This vintage runner is hand-knotted in wool by village and tribal weavers of the Azerbaijan region. A deep indigo field carries a chain of ivory hexagonal medallions filled with stylized birds, flanked by rows of tribal animal motifs in rust, teal, and gold, all framed by a richly patterned multi-band border.

Entirely one of a kind — no two hand-knotted rugs are ever truly alike. This piece carries over 40 years of history and character.
